MLA1 students take five design studios, each with a set of specific learning outcomes to help develop one as a designer. These studios are a central part of the MLA experience. There is also a very strong community aspect to these studio courses as much of the work and learning is completed as teams. For one semester studio is a mix of different class years, ‘Praxis Studio’, allowing for greater flow of learning between these class years.
