ASLA Awards
Each year the New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects selects seniors nominated by the faculty to receive Honor and Merit Awards. These awards are selected based upon a competitive process and represent the highest recognition bestowed upon a student in the professional program.

Deskin Taylor Knoll Memorial Scholarship
Established by John Webster this award is in memory of Deskin Taylor Knoll whose avocation and passion was landscape design. The scholarship is awarded to a junior who has demonstrated a high level of creativity and artful expression in their design projects. The scholarship is based on academic merit and evidence of artistic talent in the execution of a landscape design project.

Don Paul Yaquinto Memorial Scholarship
This award, established in memory of Don Paul Yaquinto, class of 1991, recognizes outstanding academic and design achievement by a sophomore in landscape architecture.

Garden Club Awards and Scholarships
Garden Clubs throughout the State of New Jersey have been extremely supportive of our program and our students. Some Garden club awards include the Dr. Charles H. Connors Award (seniors), Edison Garden Club (for NJ and/or Middlesex County residents), Garden Club of New Jersey (open to all students), Gardeners of Watchung Hills Scholarship (for sophomores residing in Somerset, Union, or Morris County), Elizabeth and Karl Ehricke/Maplewood Garden Club Scholarship (open to all students), and the Richard Walter/Maplewood Garden Club Scholarship (open to all students).

Kevin Dorko Memorial Scholarship
This award, established in memory of Kevin Dorko, class of 1975, recognizes outstanding academic and design achievement by a junior in landscape architecture. For a junior majoring in landscape architecture who ranks in the top third of the junior class and demonstrates great academic promise.

New Jersey Committee of the Garden Club of America Summer Intern Scholarship Fund.  For undergraduate, New Jersey resident students, majoring in plant science, landscape architecture, horticulture engineering, and natural resource management; based on academic merit, financial need, and participation in a New Jersey summer internship program relating to the major fields of study.

Rudolf W. and Ans van der Goot Memorial Scholarship.   Awarded by Gardeners of Somerset Valley, Inc., to a Somerset, Middlesex, or Hunterdon County resident (in order of preference) with demonstrated academic excellence, who is entering the sophomore year and majoring in the field of horticulture, plant science, or landscape architecture.
