New Course - Fundamentals of Landscape Architecture
This fall, the Department of Landscape Architecture is offering a new course titled "Fundamentals of Landscape Architecture". The course explores the nature of landscape spatial experience and design thinking using three-dimensional modeling in a studio setting. It introduces graphic and three-dimensional representation techniques used to imagine and represent landscapes. It addresses modern and contemporary landscape design theory and practice through readings and presentations. Together these provide a multifaceted introduction to the field of landscape architecture.
The course is appropriate for current or prospective students who are interested in design. It is particularly well suited for students interested in pursuing a graduate degree in design.
Class meets: 9:15-12:15 Monday, Wednesday, Friday, for 7 credits
