The Department maintains a state-of-the-art instructional computing facility. Other than scheduled class time, the lab is available for student use on a 24-hour, 7 days per week basis. The lab contains 20 stations networked to a department server, printers, 36" plotter, and flatbed scanner. The latest versions of Office, AutoCad, 3D Studio Viz, Photoshop, Illustrator and ArcGIS are available on the lab computers.
Library:
The Department maintains a reading room as a resource for students. The reading room contains over 1500 cataloged volumes and subscriptions to twelve design and planning journals. The reading room is open during normal university hours.
Studios:
Students at the juniors and senior levels are assigned workstations with drafting tables. The workstations may be personalized by students to reflect their design interests and personalities. At the sophomore level, students may share workstations. Drawing and drafting supplies may be stored in secure lockers. Studios are available for student use on a 24-hour, 7 days per week basis.
