Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences [Dept. of Landscape Architecture]

Annual Fall Field Trip

Each fall the Department sponsors a four-day field trip to a major urban center in the Northeast. Destinations include Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Conducted since 1965, these excursions form a strong tradition in the Department. On these trips students are exposed to good examples of landscape architecture, environmental design, architecture and urban design. They are also exposed to different cultural, natural and built landscapes. The trips also provide an excellent social setting to get to know the faculty and make new friends.
